NEW T7000 AUTO COMMAND CVT LAUNCHED2012|2011
New Holland has launched is much anticipated "Auto Command" transmission in the T7000 range of tractors.
The new constantly variable transmission (CVT) was designed and will be built in-house by New Holland. The Auto Command will be available in the following models: T7030 (167hp), T7040 (182hp), T7050 (197hp) and T7070 (224hp) - all models feature additional power boost of between 23hp and 37hp.
The new "Sidewinder II" armrest offers an electrically adjustable armrest for maximum comfort. At the heart of the armrest lies the "force-based" multi function handle with all major tractor operations being at fingertip control.
Exhaust Braking is fitted standard with 50kph models, reducing the wear on standard tractor brakes.
The Auto Command CVT gearbox features four mechanical reference points combined with a hydrostatic unit for maximum efficiency during use. Many competitive makes use only 2 reference points which reduces efficiency with a greater reliance on the hydrostatic element of the transmission.
Built in Britain! Due to go on sale this week with production commencing in May/June, the T7000 Auto Command is built in Basildon.
