APPOINTMENT OF MARK FARRELL AS DEALER PRINCIPAL2012|2011
As a result of our expansion and development as a company over the past few years, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Farrell as Dealer Principal. Mark will be joining us from 1st October 2010. He also becomes a Director of the company.
Mark will be taking over responsibility for the day to day running of all our agricultural activities and will be primarily based at our Bridgwater depot, although he will also be spending time at our Williton depot and on-site visiting customers where possible. Mark Farrell is a well known face to many of you through his years working with New Holland, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new position.
Mark started his career as an agricultural engineer with L.F.Jewell at Redhill before joining Ford Motor Company’s tractor division in the 1980’s. He worked his way up through the company as a product demonstrator in the European and African markets, then as a Service instructor in the International training department. After 7 years as a Service Area Manager, Mark then assumed the position of Sales Area Manager for the South West – a position he has held for the past 15 years. Mark lives locally in Hemyock with his wife and two children and is a keen supporter of recently promoted Exeter Chiefs rugby club and, like them, is very keen to take up the new challenge!
Mark is looking forward to meeting those of you he hasn’t already met during his time with New Holland. He is keen to have a very hands-on approach to his new role and will be handling the Bridgwater workshop calls personally once he has had a chance to settle in. With his wealth of experience in both the Sales and Service fields, Mark is fully committed to upholding and developing the high levels of customer service that we have always provided.
