Kuhn GMD Mowers
The Kuhn GMD plain disc mowers are split into four seperate ranges:
GMD Select Range
The entry level 'GMD Select' range of plain mowers. They are available in the following models: GMD44 Select (1.6M), GMD55 Select (2.0M) and the GMD66 Select (2.4M). Main features include: close positioning of cutterbar to tractor to improve balance and ground adaption, oval discs with ribbed profile for a clean and even cut, ribbed cone on outer disc to give a clean seperation between cut and uncut crop, safety breakaway should an obstacle become stuck to enable mower unit to swing slightly backwards.
GMD400/500/600/700/800 Range
The middle level '00' range of GMD plain disc mowers. They are available in the following models: GMD400 (1.6M), GMD500 (2.0M), GMD600 GII (2.4M), GMD700 GII (2.8M) and the GMD800 GII (3.1M). Main features above the select range include: articulation with a large travel range giving good ground clearance on uneven ground coupled with stubble preservation and 35 degree mowing angles on slopes, spring suspension, mowing unit hydraulic lift system on 600/700/800 models, safety release.
GMD602/702 Range
The top level '02' range of GMD plain disc mowers. They are available in the following models: GMD602 GII (2.4M) and GMD702 GII (2.8M). Main features above the '00' range include: lift control hydro-pneumatic suspension controlled by pressure guage to give fast and precise field adaptation and lower pull requirement, non-stop safety system giving hydraulic return to work position after hitting an object, lifting controlled via spool valve, rear pivot and lock for transport, fast-fit blades.
GMD3110/3510/4010/4410
The new flagsip addition to the GMD range offers a collection of larger, more advanced plain disc mounted mower. They are available in the following models: GMD3110 (3.1M), GMD3510 (3.5M), GMD4010 (4.0M) and GMD4410 (4.4M). Main features above the smaller '02' range are: new OPTIDISC cutterbar giving varying distance between disc axis for high quality cut and lubriaction for life with synthetic oil.
